Five for the Environment – Educational Sustainability Project
“Five for the Environment” is a flagship initiative by Edumi.ro, aimed at transforming Școala Gimnazială Nr. 5 in Bucharest into a living model of environmental education and sustainable practices. More than just a project, this is a real transformation, embedding eco-conscious thinking into daily school life through hands-on learning, creative workshops, and community engagement. 🌱
Over the course of the project, students will learn, experiment, and implement sustainable solutions, including:

Eco-Education Guide: Creating a practical guide on environmental education, to be distributed to at least 10 school communities.

Vertical School Garden: Transforming the school fence into an urban green space to inspire students and the local community.

Eco Camp: Organizing a nature-focused camp for 26 children, where the outdoors becomes their classroom.

Workshops: Conducting 224 hands-on workshops, helping over 500 children discover actionable ways to protect the environment.
Each step brings the community closer to becoming responsible, conscious, and empowered, embodying the project’s motto: “Education ON.”
